Money conversations
What does each of you expect around spending, saving, and talking about financial decisions?
Before you say “I do” · Minister Adrian Johnson
You’ve planned the wedding. Now make room for the conversations about the life you’re building together.
Especially helpful for engaged couples who already live together and still have unspoken expectations about money, responsibilities, or family.
What hasn’t been said yet?
What does each of you expect around spending, saving, and talking about financial decisions?
Who notices, plans, and follows through on the everyday responsibilities—not just who helps when asked?
How will you make decisions together while respecting the people you love?
“Living together tells you who leaves the dishes. Talking together helps you decide what happens next.” — Minister Adrian
How we work together
Each partner completes a short questionnaire before the session. You choose the topics that need the most attention.
Adrian guides a respectful conversation. Together you put specific actions, responsibilities, and a check-in date on paper.
Use your summary at home. At your follow-up, discuss what worked, what felt difficult, and what needs adjusting.
Start the conversation
Share your contact details and a few times that work for both of you. Adrian will follow up to confirm fit, availability, and next steps.
You don’t need to arrive with perfect answers. You do need two willing partners and room for an honest conversation.
